Chanakya National Law University is a residential University established under the Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006 and recognized u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act.
Eligibility:
Applicant should have passed Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent Examination with not less than 45% of marks in aggregate. Those appearing for the examination in March/April, 2007 can also apply. Applicant must not have completed 21 years of age (SC/ST/OBC/Girls and Physically challenged candidates below 23 years) as on July 1, 2007. Total seats 80 only.
National Entrance Test: Sunday the 27th May 2007 from 3.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Reservations: As per the Bihar Reservation Act, 2003. SC-16% ST-1% EBC-18% BC-12%, Women of B.C. (may also opt for the reserved categories to which they belong, if they so desire) 3%.
Total Fees: Payable at the time of admission Rs.66, 500/- (Excluding Mess Charges)
Centres for Exam: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Ranchi. Last date for receipt of filled in application alongwith DD of Rs.1, 000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST only) drawn in favour of Registrar, CNLU, Patna – Friday 27th April 2007. For LL.M. and Ph.
