For example, when the first three users take the test, they will see only three users (and will thus think that not many users are taking the test). One way of overcoming this, could have been that we delay the ranks to say 7 days, when sufficient number of students have taken the test. But then some users will not be satisfied with this delay. They would like an immediate rank. So what we have done is, we give test rank as a temporary assessment, and series rank as a measure of overall performance and preparation as compared to the other examinees.
